They called me to fix the problem and stuck with me via email until I was happy. In my experience - a rare thing. The basket is a jewel, the quick-release works easily & every time. Great price. Nice looking. Relatively easy install (though there were no instructions included). However, the plastic supports are not strong enough for the metal basket. The way the basket works is that the metal basket slides into a plastic bracket and locks in--kind of like a seat belt, in a way. However, the parts of the plastic that attach to the metal are not very strong. On my 3rd ride, with something in the basket, I hit a bump, and the shock caused the basket to fall off. All 4 pieces of the basket had snapped. Honestly, this is not a basket designed for real use. Go with something that latches on more securely or permanently. |
