The bearings on these pedals aren't as smooth as other more expensive pedals I've used, such as MKS pedals. They don't make any noise or get caught or anything, but when you spin them you feel a little resistance rather than seeing em spin around like butter (which my MKS track pedals do). I put them on my daily commuter bike to match the saddle and grip tape. They look really nice with matching body and all. Easy to install on standard cranks (Raceface track crankset). I did grind the drive side pedal while narrowly avoiding traffic. It grazed the curb and did get scratched up, but hey, it's my daily commuter. It wears the scar with pride, and the pedals continue to work without trouble. I installed some Avenir toe cages and straps pretty easily. I recommend these for a daily ride to add some style, but wouldn't use them on a bike you want to race with or do extra long trips with. For those, I highly recommend MKS pedals.

The quality on these pedals is what you get for the price. Im not saying that they are awful or even too good to be true but just right. They are light weight pedals, and the powder coat on them is just fine. I ordered the green ones and the green ones have a vibrant color to them which I guess add to the custom factor in fixed gear bikes. From what I have put to use, they are great. I did attach some straps onto the pedals, the biciband ones and works fine. The powder coat does chip and scratch but what would you expect. I am loving these. I gave them a 4 out of 5 because there is no such thing as perfect. The price is right and so is the product. Cheers.

Just replaced the stock pedals off my Mercier Kilo TT with these + metal toe clips + leather straps. Feels a whole lot better than before! Nice, noticeably bright color.
