It features a rubberized coating, which is nice because it prevents scratching my bike frame. It comes with 5 keys, one of which includes a mini LED flashlight (though this makes the key fob quite large). It also comes with a bracket for mounting the bike to the frame. This bracket seems well-designed in that it has a spring-activated clip for the lock. This makes attaching the lock to the bracket very easy. The bracket itself has two sets of screws so it can mount to frames with large range of diameters. However, the bracket, however arranged, mounts the lock **on the side** of the frame, which might get in the way of cycling, depending on mounting location.Overall it is a good product and I would recommend it.  decent lock, some flaws, By This review is from: OnGuard Bulldog Medium Mini Lock (Sports) This lock seems to be hard to lock. It's a bit finicky. In the crossbar, the hole for each end of the U goes all the way through, so if you push it too far in, it won't lock, and it has to be just right.It seems cheaply made too. The yellow ends can slip and be pulled off the lock or can cover the holes. It's pretty inconvenient. Granted it's a new lock, but I've never had to really play with locking a kryptonite in order to get the key to turn. Check out my uploaded pics to see what I mean. |
