This taillight is quite bright with it's 5 leds and brighter than some with more led's. It also has multiple modes including solid plinking and several other patterns so it is easy to find one that meets your preference. I use it blinking unless I have someone following my for a long ride on another bike where it would be distracting. I have this light mounted in several ways. It fits a standard reflector mount perfectly and I used the mount on my rear rack on one bike, the existing reflector bracket on another bike and the included quick mount bracket to mount to the seatpost on a third bike. This is great if you want to permanently mount this in place of your rear reflector or on your rear bike rack. It's large and puts out a lot of light. It also works great as ordinary reflector.
