This vest has worked very well for me. It is light weight and comfortably worn over a shirt, a sweatshirt, or a jacket. The pockets are deep and secure. The fit is good and adjustable with velcro strips on the sides. The zipper is large and easily managed. It even has a little collar. The under-arm openings are not too snug. I give five stars. It has two big outside front pockets for gloves, dry socks, a paperback book or ham sandwiches. The inside stiff-back support can be removed easily. The little cheap-plastic "fishing license" pocket is stupid, useless and just looks terrible. I easily removed it with a pocket knife in three minutes, it's just stitched on. The vest looks even better without it. The side velcro adjustments are very nice & sturdy strong. I only wish it had more reflective material on the back, but i can always add my own... I'm a boss with needle and thread. |
