My wife is delighted with these "cruiser" pedals on her racer-style bicycle. She had difficulty riding with clipless pedals, but wanted the support of her stiff soled bicycle shoe. These pedals were a perfect solution! Normally, I like just about anything from Avenir - including my new Avenir Rush Bike Helmet, but the O.E. Avenir Comfort Pedals just flat wore out after 2 years of hard riding on my Raleigh hybrid. And when I say hard riding, I mean a lot of riding...as in now pushing 2,000 miles.These SunLite Cruiser Pedals should work well on just about any cruiser, comfort or hybrid bike that take 9/16" pedals. They are a bit heavier, but they're made out of metal, not resin or plastic. Besides, these types of bikes are not exactly known for their light weight to begin with.
