This review is from: Shimano RD-4500 Tiagra Rear Derallieur (SS Short Cage, 9-Speed, Silver) (Sports) I've owned Dura Ace, Ultegra, and 105 rear derallieurs. This is easily the best value. The price and durability can't be beat. I've raced as a cat 1 for years, worked in a bike shop, and would not hesitate to use this on my training bike. If you're not a weight freak, I don't really see a reason you wouldn't use this. Don't let the Tiagra name fool you that this isn't as good as some of the higher models plus a couple of grams. I use this on my time trial bike. It doesn't weigh a lot or very much more than any high end derailleur.
